we are under the covering of lead pastors david and kathie thomas. vcc is committed to loving god completely, loving others unconditionally,  and loving life enthusiastically. This church of 3,000 is located just outside of youngstown, ohio and less than a mile from the Pennsylvania state line. Although youngstown is a struggling community, we are seeing improvements in its economy, government, and the hearts of its people. We have accepted their dna and ymc has taken the "baton". Its our assignment to change our world, one city at a time.

YMC is heavily involved in the ministries at vcc. on sunday mornings, we have students helping in the nursery, underground, children's church, usher ministry, the bookstore and cafe, and others. our students are able to serve and minister in the area of their interest, as well as developing their giftings. they lead games, lessons, small groups, worship, media, and have many other opportunities to get experience as leaders in the church.
